G2000 is having its mega clearance sale! Selected blazers for $59 only! I just bought one today! finally I got a clean cut looking blazer taht is sooo darn easy to match! all you needing formal clothes, go grab them before its too late!
But, as I grow older, I realise that importance of quality rather than price; most of my cheap bags are giving way far too easily, and worse, when I need them the most, like now, just before I fly to Germany. The only consolation is that at least they break here rather than in Germany. Darn. I would so like to have a good trustworthy Gucci bag now. :(
Anyway, apologies to all who have been faithfully checkign this blog, and refreshing the site to check if it has been updated; I was just too busy and too not in the mood for frivilous posts until today. so till the next frivilous and flippant post, Auf Wiedersehen! (Goodbye in German)
And, unless, unless you really want something deeper and less superficial, skip this site and go straight to Rose Without Thorns

| Was sorting out pictures from my phone camera, and saw this lovely photo that I had taken but completely forgotten about. It's so beautiful, I had to share it with you-- Swarovski Crystal Christmas tree.

| Esther gallantly bestowed me with 5 pairs of very fitting jeans that she can no longer wear, and suddenly I am the proud owner of 5 more pairs of snug fitting denims. Considering that you can hardly catch me in jeans because I never seem to be able to find jeans that flatter me, this is an amazingly awesome find. Thanks Est!
One more important piece of news! Shawny Bonny is back! we just received him from the airport last night, and this means that finally, Jinhua Raymond and I and Shawn will get to meet up! And the three musketeers too! Dinner dinner! Arrange k??

| Taken off Fengling's blog:
Somewhere down the line We found the riddle and the rhyme Like two notes fade out of time Now we don't feel as whole... no no
Somehow through the years We let the laughter turn to tears And all those feelings weren't so clear Just aren't here anymore... anymore And sometimes, I...
Wish we were heroes in the setting sun Ride off together when the story's done No sad goodbyes, no alibis... just Two heroes waving from the back of a train Two heroes never feeling all of the pain Heartbreak in rending Of knowing the ending is here And it's time for goodbye But so much for heroes We could never be heroes Because heroes don't cry

| Ever looked at a tiny seed and imagined the kind of tree it would blossom into?
Today, I looked at the prettiest baby I've seen in a long long time, and wondered at the potential that the tiny, unassuming frame withheld, the beautiful young woman she was going to transform into, and the millions of moments that her daddy's camera shots could capture. The latest addition to the Lim family, Shana, and also my cousin (but Esther, your NIECE), was warmly welcomed by my family at her one month celebration.
I couldn't help but marvel at how her innocent and completely unprecedented arrival brought my family to another level of bonding and unity; how her daddy's face glowed with a beaming pride emanating from within, and how her sweet cheery lips, huge longan eyes and perfect nose bridge captured the look of untainted happiness.

| some people you may know for such a long time, that you forget how you even met, because you have grown with them to a place where the start hardly matters anymore; what matters is the present and the future, times where you know you want them to be together with you at, and circumstances and encounters that you so much want to share with them.
others, you know for equally long, but the only thing of significance that you can remember, other than the countless birthdays celebrated each year, other than the current scope of their jobs, and other than the occasional big group updates, is how you met them; precisely because there is nothing to look forward to; there is no present that is tangibly visible; there is only the past that you can make anything concrete from.

| Work commenced 3 weeks back, and it's been fun, though nothing significantly worth writing about has popped up; am trying to keep integrity my constant mantle; it's a real push againt the tide to integrate my values with my attitude at work. Office politics often crops up unexpectedly; too fast and sudden for me to compose a response I would be proud of; and sides are often expected to be taken; although I generally wish very much to sit on the pokey fence. Its been an eye opener so far; just slightly like school but where you generally have to be on greater guard than as a schoolgirl. I do look forward to work most mornings though, except for the crazy wake up time of 630 am. Other than that, I don't really want to talk about work, because, just because.
p.s. Alex, when are we going to meet up???
